Job Summary:

Air Borealis is seeking a skilled and experienced Ramp Attendant Supervisor to join our team in Goose Bay, NL. As a key member of our ground handling team, you will be responsible for overseeing the loading and unloading of all PAL Airlines, Air Borealis, and Charter flights while on shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and guide Ramp Attendants to ensure efficient and safe ground handling operations.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of passengers and cargo, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Coordinate ground operation procedures and help to review, evaluate, and implement new procedures.
  • Complete daily inspections of ground handling equipment and required paperwork.
  • Marshalling aircraft in and out of the ramp area safely.
  • Establish work priorities and delegate work to Ramp Attendants.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience considered an asset.
  • Ability to mentor coworkers and provide guidance in a supervisory role.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, including picking up shifts on short notice for additional flights, charters, and vacation/sick leave coverage.
  • Must have a clean certificate of conduct and be able to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract.
  • Ability to lift weight handling up to 50lbs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work with others.
