Join our Property Tax Services team as a Property Tax Analyst. This dynamic group of professionals specializes in delivering tailored tax strategies within a complex regulatory landscape. As a key advisor, you will keep a close eye on market trends and legislative developments to ensure our clients are leveraging all available programs and incentives to optimize their tax recovery on real estate assets.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive studies of the real estate market Collaborate with municipalities, real estate professionals, developers, property owners, and tenants to gather essential information for the annual assessment of property values Assess property values utilizing various appraisal techniques Regularly update and collect client data through requests for income and expense reports as well as rent rolls Assist in the creation and development of high-quality deliverables, including proposals, engagement letters, reports, presentations, and other communications Work in partnership with the client engagement team Be prepared to travel as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or law Familiarity with current legislation and its effects on the taxation of commercial properties Knowledge of real estate valuation for assessment purposes
