Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Truck Mechanic Assistant to join our team at Peoples Trucking Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will provide essential support to our mechanics and tradespersons, ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics and tradespersons with daily tasks, including moving equipment and tools, and cleaning work areas.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Help with tasks such as cleaning machines and maintaining work areas, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Support the team with tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling, as required.
Requirements
  • Dependability and flexibility are essential for this role, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role, with regular bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Will train on the job, with opportunities for growth and development.
  • Permanent position, working 40 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.
