About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at 10008800 Manitoba Ltd. as a key member of our facilities maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse, and empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Specialized Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Physical Labor: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Setting: The successful candidate will work in a hotel, motel, or resort environment, which may require working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
