Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical status, functional abilities, and needs to develop effective physiotherapy plans.
- Provide individualized physiotherapy interventions to enable patients to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental quality assurance initiatives.
- Participate in education and research activities to stay current with best practices in physiotherapy.
Requirements:
- Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC).
- Eligible for membership in the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC).
- Broad knowledge of physiotherapy theory and practice within a client-centered model of care.
- Basic knowledge of evidence-based clinical practice related to designated clinical areas.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
