About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Moulder Operator to join our team at Chief Medical Supplies Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our extrusion and moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced to ensure it meets our high standards.
  • Packaging and Shipping: Pack items for shipping and distribution to our customers.
  • Setup and Operation: Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compound through a nozzle or die, and moulding machines to mould plastic products.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Trimming and Sanding: Trim and sand plastic or fiberglass parts to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • CNC Machine Operation: Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to precision-cut and shape plastic components.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Certifications: Forklift Operator Certification and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, dependable, organized, reliable, and a team player.
