About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Technology Risk Services team in Toronto. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in assessing and mitigating IT risks for our clients, ensuring the integrity and security of their technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of IT risks and controls, identifying areas of improvement and providing recommendations for mitigation.
  • Support the development and implementation of IT risk management strategies, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT risks, ensuring seamless integration with business operations.
  • Develop and maintain risk and control matrices, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on IT risk management, ensuring clients receive high-quality services.
  • Engage with clients to understand their IT risk management needs, providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging IT risks and trends, ensuring our services remain relevant and effective.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISA, CRISC, or CGEIT.
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT risk management, preferably in a large consulting practice.
  • Strong understanding of IT General Controls and controls-based audits.
  • Experience with implementing and evaluating data governance structures, system asset tooling, and IT projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of personal confidence and drive.
