About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at YES Kids Christian Childcare. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment that supports the growth and development of our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our team to design and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Child Engagement: Encourage children to express their creativity through various activities, including art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Environment Maintenance: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Security: Vulnerable sector check.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, attention to detail, and ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and team player.
