Your role within the team

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing production ground and flight evaluations to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
  • Executing demonstration flights for prospective clients.
  • Conducting Customer Acceptance flights.
  • Facilitating Ferry flights.
  • Managing pre and post-flight procedures.
  • Providing support for weekend schedules as needed.
  • Assisting at the Bombardier Flight Test Center when required.
  • Reviewing manuals and other documentation as necessary.

Keys to success in this position

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid Canadian ATPL and Class 1 medical certification.
  • A minimum of 3,500 total flight hours, including 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command on large multi-engine aircraft.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours and travel on short notice.
  • Previous flight testing experience or a robust technical background in certification or training is highly advantageous.
  • A US ATP is considered an asset.
  • The legal right to work and reside in Canada.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • The capability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • The skill to fulfill the responsibilities of an aircraft commander while fostering a positive and cooperative relationship with crew and management.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
