Route Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Route Service Manager to join our team at Interstate Batteries. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver batteries and provide service to customers and dealers in a safe and timely manner.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and dealers to drive sales and retention.
- Manage consignment programs to help dealers increase sales and improve performance.
- Complete documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Rotate batteries to maintain quality product and service standards.
- Collect and handle payments, including cash, checks, and money orders.
- Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to the warehouse.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Previous delivery and customer service experience required.
- Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
Our team members work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to battery warehouse conditions, including moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles.
