Logistics Coordinator Position

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Logistics Coordinator at Unity Transport Ltd.

  • **Work Term:** Permanent
  • **Work Language:** English

  • **Experience:** 1 year to less than 2 years
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments to ensure efficient logistics operations.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on logistics performance.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units to ensure seamless operations.
  • Estimate materials and labour required for projects to ensure accurate budgeting.
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Keep track of shipments and dispatch personnel as needed to ensure timely delivery.
  • Respond to individuals in need of assistance to provide excellent customer service.
  • Schedule assignments and oversee operational logistics to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • 5-10 people supervision experience to lead a team effectively.
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Dispatch management service software, GPS operation, MS Office Suite to manage logistics operations efficiently.
  • Experience in trucking services to understand logistics operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone to stay connected.
