Occupational Therapist

Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Enhanced Care Program. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide direct and indirect specialized occupational therapy services to clients. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, planning, and implementing interventions to promote functional independence and occupational performance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct client assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to promote functional independence and occupational performance.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and service providers to ensure a coordinated approach to service provision.
- Provide education and training to clients, families, and healthcare professionals on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
- Two years' recent related experience working in a community setting.
- Valid B.C. Class V Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes.
This is a full-time position working in a community setting. The successful candidate will be required to work at various locations within the assigned geographical area.
