Position Overview

The Housekeeping Room Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest accommodations at Devonian Hotel & Suites. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning Duties: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors; dust furniture; vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Room Preparation: Make beds and change linens; distribute clean towels and toiletries; stock linen closets.
  • Sanitation: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances; disinfect operating rooms and other areas; clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items; attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items; provide basic information on hotel facilities.
  • General Maintenance: Pick up debris and empty trash containers; wash windows, walls, and ceilings; clean changing rooms and showers; address customer complaints or concerns.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, performing repetitive tasks that are physically demanding. The position involves bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications
