Lakeside Health RMT (Registered Massage Therapist) Job Description

We are seeking a skilled RMT to join our team at Lakeside Health. As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for administering massage techniques to clients, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and hydrotherapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer massage techniques to clients, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and hydrotherapy.
  • Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients.
  • Maintain records of treatments given.
  • Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body.
  • Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques.
Requirements:
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Interpersonal awareness and client focus.
  • Values and ethics.
Work Environment:
  • Free parking available.
  • On-site amenities.
  • Parking available.
  • Permanent position.
  • 10-50 hours per week.
  • English language.
