Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Center Operations:
    • Oversee the daily operations of data center facilities, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
    • Manage physical and virtual server environments, storage systems, and networking equipment.
  • Infrastructure Management:
    • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Capacity Planning and Optimization:
    • Monitor and analyze data center capacity and performance.
    • Plan and implement capacity upgrades and optimizations to meet business needs.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
    • Ensure data center infrastructure meets compliance standards and regulations.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
    • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
    • Conduct regular testing and updates to ensure readiness.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with hardware, software, and service vendors.
    • Negotiate contracts, oversee service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure vendor performance.
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the data center budget.
    • Monitor expenses and optimize costs without compromising performance and security.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead infrastructure projects from planning to execution.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders, manage timelines, and ensure project deliverables.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of data center configurations and processes.
    • Generate regular reports on data center performance and capacity.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • Experience with Linux, Rack Management, OpenStack, VMware, Windows, RHEL Satellite, PAM.
  • Experience with SAN Switches, Storage, Backup.
  • Exposure to switch, firewall, and F5 connectivity.
