Premform Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Health and Safety Plans: Create and implement comprehensive health and safety plans to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Conduct Workplace Inspections: Regularly inspect workplaces to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to mitigate risks.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and development opportunities to staff on health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Review and Update Policies: Review and update health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Management: Work closely with management to ensure that health and safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a health and safety role or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a team of experienced professionals. The work environment is outdoors, noisy, and dusty.
