Job Summary

Thompson Rivers University is seeking a qualified sessional instructor to teach NURS 5330, Advanced Pharmacotherapeutics, as part of our Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach NURS 5330, Advanced Pharmacotherapeutics, to Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner students
  • Work under the guidance of the MNNP Coordinator and in collaboration with NP faculty to develop course content
  • Collaborate with a course partner to deliver the course
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students on advanced pharmacotherapeutics
Qualifications
  • PhD (or equivalent) is preferred
  • MNNP qualification is required
  • Current NP registration in a Canadian jurisdiction in good standing without limits or conditions, and/or eligibility for registration with BCCNM
  • Three (3) years full-time or equivalent experience as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Evidence of continuous learning in your area of nursing
  • An understanding of, and experience in, the Canadian healthcare system
