Job Title: Java Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to join our team at Codemiles. As a Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company's web applications using Java and Websphere technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test Java-based web applications using Websphere Portal Server and Process Server.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Websphere technologies.
  • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Websphere Portal Server, and Websphere Process Server.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with JSF, Portlets, Maven, Ajax, and Groovy.
  • Strong understanding of web application security and scalability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
