Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at SKT Logistics Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of vehicle operators and crews, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, including vehicle operator work records and mileage reports.
  • Monitor personnel workloads and locations, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry and communication with stakeholders.
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Assist with maintenance of communications equipment and ensure compliance with cross-border dispatching regulations.
  • Process and transmit information to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews.
  • Record and analyze data on fuel use, repairs, and other expenses to optimize logistics operations.
  • Respond to urgent calls from individuals in life-threatening situations and provide assistance as needed.
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to meet customer demands.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train.
  • 5-10 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
