Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for handling and processing materials in our production facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hand pick and sort materials such as copper bearings, wire harnesses, rags, dirt, rubber, foam, etc. and place them into separate containers.
  • Operate and perform routine inspections of mobile equipment.
  • Monitor and report the operating condition of production equipment as required.
  • Complete and submit checklists or equipment care documents associated with assigned tasks.
  • Perform tasks primarily in a standing/static position.
  • Work rotating shifts, including afternoon and night shifts.
  • Wear heavy clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Assist in maintenance tasks and support production efficiencies and uptime.
  • Perform daily checks to ensure equipment is maintained in proper working order.
  • Work at heights and in adverse weather conditions.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including afternoon and night shifts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good attendance and work ethic.
  • Physical ability to perform in a labor-intensive environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
