We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at RR INFRASTRUCTURE LTD. as a key member of our logistics operations.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining a fleet of trucks, transporting goods and materials across various routes. This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek, requiring a strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and excellent judgment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain a fleet of trucks, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods and materials.
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and compliance with regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including brake adjustments and tire checks.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
- AZ class license
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy goods transport
- Excellent physical condition, with the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This position requires fluency in English or French, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation regulations. The work environment is physically demanding, with regular exposure to heavy loads and varying weather conditions.
