About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pita Pit Blue Mountain. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and quality, and lead by example to inspire and motivate your team to do the same.
  • Manage Schedules and Records: Establish work schedules, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with customers, staff, and management to ensure that all needs are met and that issues are resolved promptly.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
