Infusion Therapy Nurse

As an Infusion Therapy Nurse at BioScript Logistics Inc., you will play a crucial role in delivering specialized care to patients with chronic health conditions and rare diseases. Our organization is dedicated to enhancing access to specialty healthcare across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and prepare specialized intravenous and injection therapies.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and provide medication education to patients.
- Deliver patient care through observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health education.
- Document patient conditions in accordance with established standards.
- Offer guidance and support to Licensed/Registered Practical Nurses as necessary.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in acute care, preferably within a hospital environment; experience in ICU or ER is advantageous.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with current registration in good standing with the provincial licensing authority.
- Proficient in the preparation and administration of medications through various routes.
- Experience with Central Venous Access Devices (CVADs) is a plus.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions related to patient care.
- Familiarity with biologics and infusion therapies is considered an asset.
