About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at PERFECT LINE PAINTING LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages as needed
  • Support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees through various programs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities and organizations
  • Provide cultural competency training to all employees
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in painting and surface preparation
  • Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to support the integration of newcomers and refugees
  • Knowledge of cultural competency and diversity training
