About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Practitioner to join our team at Properties Medical Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultation and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to evaluate their physical and mental health, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Medication and Treatment: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary, and provide patients with clear instructions and guidance.
  • Patient Education and Support: Offer patients and their families comprehensive education and support on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
  • Co-ordination of Care: Co-ordinate and manage primary patient care, including referrals to specialists and other healthcare services as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Hold a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry, and be certified by the College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II).
  • Licenses and Permits: Hold licensure by provincial or territorial authorities and be in good standing with the Medical Council of Canada.
  • Language and Communication: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be fluent in English.
