About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Worker to join our team at Bellboy Drycleaning & Laundry Ltd. as a key member of our dry cleaning and laundry establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and drying of garments.
  • Garment Handling and Processing: Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles, and assemble and bag finished articles to meet establishment standards.
  • Quality Control: Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that they meet establishment standards, and record any damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including matching invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced dry cleaning and laundry establishment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
