Key Responsibilities

As a Security Officer with Paladin Security, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Your duties will include:

•Conducting foot patrols of buildings, both interior and exterior, to detect and prevent potential security threats

•Monitoring access control systems to ensure authorized personnel only have access to restricted areas

•Providing excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and the public, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

•Utilizing radio communication systems to stay in touch with colleagues and respond to emergencies

•Monitoring situations, property, and events to identify potential security risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them

•Building effective relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and community members

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people

•Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends

•Ability to write comprehensive reports and maintain accurate records

•Security Guard License and relevant security experience

•High School Diploma or equivalent

•Must be 18 years of age and bondable

Education and Certification

Grade 12 or GED equivalent

Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
