About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Ivan Mian Flooring. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality flooring installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, marking them accurately for installation
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to ensure a smooth installation process
  • Prepare detailed flooring plans and schedules to meet client needs
  • Install resilient floor coverings, including hardwood floors, with precision and attention to detail
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to maintain the integrity of the installation
  • Prepare floors for installation, removing existing coverings and contaminants as needed
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed
  • Excellent color recognition and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in the field is an asset, but not required
Work Environment

As a Flooring Specialist with Ivan Mian Flooring, you will work in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential locations. You will be required to travel to different sites, using your own transportation.
