About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at RAJ BAINS ROOFING LTD. As a Roofing Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and metal roofs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair roofing systems using various materials, including asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and metal roofs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation.
  • Estimate costs and materials for roofing projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings, ensuring a watertight seal and preventing damage.
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools, ensuring a secure and durable finish.
  • Install sheet metal flashings to prevent water damage and ensure a watertight seal.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights and in fast-paced environments.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to work with precision.
Work Environment

As a Roofing Specialist at RAJ BAINS ROOFING LTD, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety. You will be required to work at heights and in physically demanding conditions, but will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills and expertise.
