About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Ortho Rehab Group Inc. As a key member of our physiotherapy department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our team of physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning

Assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans in collaboration with our physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

Support to Healthcare Professionals

Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including positioning patients for treatments and setting up equipment.

Treatment Program Implementation

Implement treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, and follow through with patients to ensure successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Equipment Management

Set up and dismantle equipment, clean and maintain equipment, and order and purchase new equipment as needed.

Documentation and Communication

Document patient rehabilitation progress and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Administrative Support

Provide general clerical support, including processing files and paperwork, and scheduling appointments.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a physiotherapy or rehabilitation setting.

Language

English language proficiency.
