Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Select Landscaping and Construction Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our landscaping team, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Organize the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring that all materials and equipment are available and in good working order.
  • Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property.
  • Schedule work to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including the maintenance of equipment and machinery.
  • Plan and estimate labour and materials for all projects.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Maintain work records and logs, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, ensuring that all machinery is in good working order.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in good working order.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and have good manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
