Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure client-approved copy decks match draft studio PDFs – for English, French and Spanish language material – (translations are provided as Word files)
  • Review for typographic consistency, brand guidelines, logo placement, alignment of graphic elements and compare/match detailed print specs
  • Annotate any errors and inconsistencies clearly and concisely (reading against the copy deck), and the print specs (provided in the SI document)
  • Deliver PDFs with clearly written notes, to the creative, account services and print production teams, for review and further comment.
  • Compare press-ready PDFs before shipping to external vendor. Review and approve press-proof PDFs as supplied by the vendor

Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years proofreading experience in an Ad agency, or similar marketing department, design studio or print environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat is essential (working knowledge of InDesign and other Adobe apps would be a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel are essential
