Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Real State and rental leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs.
  • Operate industrial equipment to remove debris and clean surfaces.
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate with contractors for major repairs and maintenance.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment.
  • Move heavy furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Perform other routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
