About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sign Maker to join our team at B&G Signs Ltd. as a Fabrication and Assembly Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the production of high-quality signs, working closely with our design team to bring concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sign Fabrication: Operate machinery to fabricate parts and products, including cutting, shaping, and fitting materials to form parts and components.
  • Assembly and Finishing: Assemble parts and components to form final products, using techniques such as screwing, clipping, gluing, bonding, welding, or other methods.
  • Quality Control: Check manufactured items for defects and conformance to specifications, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers.
  • Maintenance and Housekeeping: Clean work areas, maintain machinery, and perform other tasks as required to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, organization, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Noisy, dusty, hot, cold/refrigerated, at heights, and outdoors.
  • Equipment and Machinery: Cutting machine, hand tools, and other equipment as required.
