About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Porter to join our team at Auberge du Pommier. As a Porter, you will be responsible for the set-up and tear down of our event space, ensuring that every detail is met and the venue is maintained to our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up the venue according to the event plan and client requests
  • Lift and move heavy and light objects in a safe and timely manner
  • Tear down the venue after an event and ensure it is clear and maintained to our standards
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the venue
  • Comply with and act in accordance with Health and Safety regulations
  • Receive and sign off on materials and shipments from clients and couriers
  • Meet, greet, and escort clients from the loading dock, offering assistance as needed

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a variable workload
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to listen and follow clear directions
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or occasional overnight shifts
  • Dependable and goal-oriented
