Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Engineering Manager to join our team at BWX Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Field Engineering Section and providing technical expertise to support the execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical guidance and support to Field Engineers to ensure the successful execution of construction projects.
    • Develop and maintain technical procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Project Management
    • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects from start to finish.
    • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of Field Engineers and technicians to ensure the successful execution of construction projects.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure that all construction projects are executed in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of quality in all construction projects.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Applied Science in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the nuclear industry, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a project engineering role.
  • Skills
    • Strong technical knowledge of nuclear codes and standards.
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Ability to develop and implement quality control procedures.
