Job Summary

Advance Forming Inc. is seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team. As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling concrete forms for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes.
  • Prepare and Assemble Forms: Prepare layouts and assemble forms in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools and equipment.
  • Measure and Cut Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Construct and Install Formwork: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
Work Environment

As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with various locations. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Work Setting: Construction, various locations.
Physical Demands
  • Bending and Crouching: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and working at heights.
  • Handling Heavy Loads: Handling heavy loads and equipment.
  • Large Workload: Working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically Demanding: Physically demanding work environment.
