About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Assistant to join our team at AAA Plumbing & Heating Ltd. As a key member of our plumbing team, you will be responsible for assisting our plumbers in various tasks related to plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist plumbers in plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Participate in construction projects, including residential and commercial sites
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying work schedules
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to lift heavy loads
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Will to learn and train on the job
