Environmental Attendant

Humber River Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Environmental Attendant to join our Environmental Services team. As an Environmental Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning and disinfection tasks in patient rooms, common areas, and other facilities
  • Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies
