Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture robust relationships with external partners, ensuring effective communication and clarity regarding project specifications.
- Evaluate and select top-tier outsourcing partners based on their expertise, portfolio, and capabilities.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships to facilitate clear communication and successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define project objectives, enhancing efficiency and minimizing misunderstandings in the scope of work for outsourcing initiatives, which may include asset creation, animation, programming, or other specialized tasks.
- Create comprehensive project plans with outsourcing partners to ensure accurate tracking and timely deliverables.
- Set quality standards with partners to guarantee consistent delivery of high-caliber assets.
- Efficiently manage project budgets in collaboration with finance and project management teams.
- Oversee project timelines to ensure on-time delivery, promptly addressing any delays to ensure timely completion.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in project management and outsourcing coordination within the gaming industry.
- Strong grasp of game development processes and workflows.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality assurance.
- Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Familiarity with various facets of game development, including art, animation, programming, and quality assurance.
