Quality Platform Lead

The Quality Platform Lead will oversee and lead quality initiatives related to the Waukesha product line, ensuring all product quality defects and non-conformities are tracked, actionized, and resolved in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Launch and change control of relevant platform developments, including the release of new engines.
  2. Quality Key Performance Indicators relevant to the engine platforms.
  3. Issue screening and continuous improvement processes.
  4. Driving quality plans and meeting production targets.
  5. Servicing and packaging audits.
  6. Quality costs management.
  7. Product Quality Issue Management (PQIM) reviews and root cause analysis.
  8. Field failure and reliability analysis.
  9. Lean Six Sigma integration.
Technical Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.
  2. University degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical Engineering) preferred.
  3. Experience with new product development of combustion engines or similar industrial products.
  4. Product management of high expense and complex technical products.
  5. Solid Lean, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis background.
  6. Certified Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma would be an asset.
  7. Familiarity with product Quality and Reliability methodologies.
  8. Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Willingness and ability to travel.
