Job Title: Certified Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our team at Skaha Dental Centre.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for dental examinations, preparing dental instruments and filling materials, sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment, taking and developing X-rays, and recording dental procedures performed on patients.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Support
    • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
    • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials
  • Instrument Maintenance
    • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
  • Diagnostic Support
    • Take and develop X-rays
  • Record Keeping
    • Record dental procedures performed on patients
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent
