Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements.
- Accounting Tasks: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and reconcile accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, as well as tax returns and trial balances.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of general ledgers and financial statements.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
- Client Focus: Strong client focus and ability to maintain confidentiality.
