Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at CA09 Labatt Brewing Company Limited. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various electrical systems and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and related equipment
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, including European and North American standards
  • Use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot production breakdowns
  • Scope work as needed to generate work orders for corrective work
  • Use SAP to look at scheduled work and document maintenance activities

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of Ontario electrical code
  • Journeyman Certification in either 442A or 309A
  • Certificate of apprenticeship
  • 1 year experience as an industrial electrician mandatory; 3 year experience preferred
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC and HMI preferred
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with hydraulic or pneumatic equipment
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
