Job Summary

As a Tax Manager at LG Canada, you will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic guidance on tax planning and optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial returns
  • Manage and maintain accurate tax records, including financial statements and tax returns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax compliance and regulatory adherence
  • Provide expert advice on tax-related matters, including tax planning, audits, and disputes
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and implement necessary changes to tax strategies and processes
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, including Canadian tax code
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex tax data
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Proficiency in tax software and systems, including tax preparation and compliance tools
