Job Title: Environment Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environment Artist to join our team at IFG - International Financial Group. As an Environment Artist, you will be responsible for creating immersive and visually stunning game environments that bring AAA title games to life.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the Environment Art team during all phases of production, upholding the values of The Art Team in building a creative, positive & inclusive culture for the level art team.
  • Creation of 3D assets, high-quality models & sculpts, textures and surfaces, and fixing bugs and polishing in-game assets.
  • Actively accept feedback from the environment art lead and art director, and offer support to our OS reviewers/managers, and external artists if needed.
  • Ability to work well under deadlines; self-motivated and works well in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience in AAA game development.
  • A portfolio with examples of environment artwork.
  • Ability to model, sculpt and texture environmental assets and surfaces, and be comfortable with organic and hard surface asset creation.
  • Proficiency in Maya or other 3D software, Z-Brush, Substance Painter or Mixer, and Photoshop.
  • Comfortable with a modern game engine such as Unreal, Frostbite or Unity.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with deadlines and be self-motivated and directed.
Salary Range:

The salary for this position is between CAD $116,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
