Job Summary: Quality Control Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout all stages of construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct compaction tests and thermography tests on site to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to site operations, including data entry and report generation.
  • Provide technical support to field crews, addressing any quality-related concerns or issues.
  • Visit construction sites to provide guidance to clients and ensure adherence to quality control procedures.
  • Collaborate with the laboratory team to conduct asphalt mix and aggregate tests, analyze results, and identify potential anomalies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all testing activities and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma in civil engineering or geological engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a quality control role within the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of materials control procedures on site is an asset.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
