Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans that promote patient independence and well-being.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment that promotes teamwork and open communication.
Requirements:
- Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses.
- Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of principles of mental health treatment within a client and family model of care.
- Comprehensive knowledge of other health care disciplines and their role in client care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
