About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Analyst to join our team at MacLean Engineering. As a Product Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of plans and actions within the Product Management team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support Product Development: Assist in the development and implementation of plans and actions within the Product Management team.
  2. Provide Data and Marketing Support: Funnel data and marketing material to the sales team and develop sales tools that support the sales process.
  3. Review and Analyze Quotes and Orders: Review quotes/custom options and conduct order reviews once POs have been received.
  4. Provide Product Demonstrations: Provide product demonstrations to potential customers.
  5. Develop Sales Materials: Develop content for sales proposals and develop sales training material for sales personnel.
  6. Collect Customer Feedback: Gather customer feedback and performance data to ensure that product performance and specifications meet customer requirements.
  7. Develop Spare Parts Recommendations: Develop spare parts recommendations for customer use.
  8. Participate in Complex Sales: Participate actively in complex, multi-year mining equipment sales.
  9. Travel and Customer Support: Travel, both domestic and internationally, is a requirement of this position. Visit key customers in conjunction with the sales team to provide in-depth product knowledge.
  10. Stay Current on Industry Developments: Stay current on industry developments, competitive offerings, and issues affecting sales and customers.
  11. Personal Development: Take responsibility for personal development and enhancement of skills.
About You

We are looking for a candidate who is willing to learn, open-minded, and flexible, organized, team-oriented, disciplined, and has a positive attitude. Ideally, you will have had experience working within a similar metal fabrication, heavy equipment assembly environment, and you possess the majority or all of the following qualifications:

  1. Post-Secondary Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree from an engineering, business, or mining program.
  2. Aptitude to Learn: Aptitude to learn the technology and underground mining equipment/environment.
  3. Computer Literacy: High level of computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office.
  4. Professionalism: High level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, need to be able to positively represent MacLean when talking to customers.
  6. Listening Skills: Excellent listening skills.
  7. Driver's License and Passport: A valid driver's license and passport are required for this role.
  8. Bilingualism: Bilingualism is an asset (French and/or Spanish).
