Position Summary

The Breakfast Service Associate plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service during the hotel's breakfast offerings and catered events. This position involves setup, service, and cleanup, ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests warmly, embodying the spirit of hospitality.
  • Prepare and present the breakfast buffet, ensuring it is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the buffet area throughout service.
  • Clear and clean tables promptly after guests depart.
  • Set up and maintain the outdoor dining area, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere.
  • Refresh the lobby beverage stations with water and coffee as needed.
  • Execute the breakdown and cleaning of the breakfast area post-service.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols in all tasks.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the setup of function rooms as per event specifications.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a Serving it Right certificate.
  • Hepatitis A vaccination is required.
  • Previous experience in banquet service is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies

  • Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and perform various tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work early morning shifts starting at 5:30am.
